Steve joined RoseWaldorf PLLC in August 2017, and returned to continue his practice with the firm in October 2022. Steve primarily defends original equipment manufacturers and distributors of automobiles and components in various forms of consumer litigation, including those alleging claims of fraud, breach of warranty, and violations of state deceptive trade practice acts and lemon laws. He also advises and represents clients in litigation, from inception through disposition, in both state and federal courts as well as a variety of dispute resolution forums.
Steve also has experience as a litigator with a regional law firm defending the nation’s largest insurance companies in federal and state insurance coverage actions and disputes, including actions alleging bad faith and extracontractual claims, arising predominately from property and casualty, business owner, and commercial lines. He has also defended clients in significant products liability, wrongful death, and professional liability actions, among various other tort and insurance disputes.
Steve has been recognized in the Best Lawyers in America: Ones to Watch and Super Lawyers: Upstate New York Rising Stars publications annually since 2021.

Steve received his J.D. magna cum laude from Albany Law School of Union University in 2017. Steve was a recipient of the Board of Trustees’ Scholarship, and served as an Associate Editor for the Albany Law Review. During law school, Steve was a teaching assistant for Introduction to Lawyering, and competed in a national corporate moot court competition as well as the Law School’s Senior Prize Trials competition. He also completed an internship with the Honorable Lawrence E. Kahn, Senior U.S. District Judge for the Northern District of New York. Prior to law school, Steve received his B.A. from Virginia Tech, with a major in Political Science.
