Mr. Martinez has spent his career in civil litigation. He defends manufacturers and distributors in a wide variety of warranty-related litigation, primarily within the automotive industry. At RoseWaldorf, he has assisted with hundreds of cases in both state and federal courts. Mr. Martinez handles a high volume of fact and expert discovery and motion practice, including both discovery and dispositive motions. He recently had a demurrer to a plaintiff’s fraud claim against an auto manufacturer sustained without leave to amend in Los Angeles County Superior Court, among other motions.

Mr. Martinez received his J.D. magna cum laude from Western State College of Law in 2016. Mr. Martinez was a recipient of the Dean’s Fellow Scholarship and served as Vice President for the Honors Moot Court Team, where he competed in various competitions throughout the United States. During law school, Mr. Martinez also received multiple Witkin Awards for academic excellence, including an award for Civil Trial Practice. Prior to law school, Mr. Martinez operated his own business as a fitness coach, and also worked as a paralegal for a local civil litigation law firm. Mr. Martinez received his B.A. from California State University, Long Beach in 2011, with a major in Political Science. He was a recipient of two President’s List Achievement Awards and the Dean’s List Award.
