Richard is an associate attorney with RoseWaldorf, defending manufacturers and distributors against a wide variety of claims under state and federal laws. Richard is involved in all facets of litigation from inception through trial.

Richard has significant litigation experience, specifically as a trial attorney, developing his skills through multiple trials he has conducted as well as National Institute for Trial Advocacy training.  Richard's trial experience includes first chair jury trial experience. Jury trial results include winning a directed verdict which resulted in beating an offer of judgment, forcing the other side to pay his client's legal and expert costs. Richard has also achieved other favorable jury trial results for his clients where he beat offers of judgment.

Richard has been recognized by his colleagues and prior managing attorneys for his ability to provide sound evaluations and effective legal strategies.  He has independently handled hundreds of cases from inception to resolution or trial, with most cases resolved in his client’s favor.  Richard also has experience working in-house insurance defense for a Fortune 50 company and a national insurance company in personal injury and premises liability matters.

Background/Education

Richard graduated from the Western College of Law in 2014.  At Western College of Law, Richard competed in negotiation competitions throughout California.  During law school, Richard also actively participated in different law societies that gave back to the community. Richard earned his B.A. in Political Science from the University of California, Riverside, where he helped lead the University’s Model United Nation Teams which was awarded Outstanding Delegation two years in a row at an international competition held in New York.
