Careers

Since its inception, RoseWaldorf has offered the highest level of representation to multi-national corporations while retaining the feel of a smaller firm.

CULTURE

RoseWaldorf’s practice focuses on successfully representing many of the largest foreign and domestic automotive manufacturers and distributors as trial counsel in both state and federal courts, as well as other forums. The firm prides itself on offering the highest quality of representation often associated with “BigLaw” firms, but with the collegial, team environment often found in a smaller firm. Several attorneys, including partners, as well as staff have been with the firm for their entire careers. Many staff members have sought out opportunities for growth and have taken increased roles of responsibility as they have developed at the firm.

For attorneys, RW provides mentoring programs for associates with the goal of creating successful trial attorneys.Given the high volume of cases and wide range of jurisdictions in which the firm practices, we offer a unique opportunity to gain extensive courtroom experience, and in turn, the necessary confidence that is required to become a successful trial attorney. With the guidance of a mentor, associates become involved in all stages of civil litigation, and quickly have the opportunity to be in court and also present cases in a variety of arbitration forums.

RoseWaldorf is committed to developing the RW team—a view that all attorneys and staff are colleagues, not competitors; that when individuals succeed, the clients and the firm succeed; and that a positive, collegial work environment results in the retention, development, and success of all team members.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

RoseWaldorf offers a generous compensation and benefit package, with attorney salaries that are highly competitive with much larger firms on both Coasts. RW also annually provides bonus consideration for all employees based on performance. For attorneys, associates at RW are not confined to a rigid salary structure that fails to account for or reward individual and team performance. RW seeks to compensate and reward its attorneys based on merit rather than solely by hierarchy.

RW also offers several benefits:

  • Health Insurance
  • Contributions to Upgraded Health Plans
  • Flexible Spending Account options
  • Paid Vacation, Sick Days, and Holidays
  • Free Parking

For attorneys, RW covers the cost of all bar exams or bar applications to additional jurisdictions after joining the Firm in order to become a multi-licensed practitioner.  RW also covers the cost of CLE and annual license/registration fees to maintain bar licensure in all state and federal courts.

Long Beach, California

RoseWaldorf LLP is based in Long Beach, California.  This coastal city is located in southern Los Angeles County, with an average yearly climate of 74 degrees and a westerly sea breeze which cools the city on even the warmest of days.  Long Beach is the 7th most populous city in California with one of the state’s largest public universities, California State Long Beach.

The city is known for its waterfront which includes miles of pristine beach line, activities like surfing, parasailing, boating, kayaking and charter fishing, and attractions like the RMS Queen Mary, the Aquarium of the Pacific, ferries to Catalina Island, along with a number of beachfront music and art festivals. The city proudly hosts The Grand Prix of Long Beach, an annual IndyCar and street race which has operated since 1975.
