Jacob Crawford is a Partner at RoseWaldorf whose practice focuses on automotive product liability, commercial litigation, regulatory compliance, and warranty litigation. Jacob has spent much of his career both in-house with major automotive and mobility companies and as outside counsel, giving him a practical understanding of the legal, regulatory, and business issues facing manufacturers. His experience includes serving in senior legal roles with Tesla, Lyft, Nissan, and Kia, where he advised on product liability and safety, regulatory compliance, autonomous and connected vehicles, warranty matters, and complex commercial disputes.

His practice includes the defense of automotive product liability and warranty claims, commercial disputes, government investigations and regulatory matters, recalls and product-safety issues, and emerging automotive technologies. He has significant experience advising clients on matters involving NHTSA and other federal and state regulators, including issues concerning vehicle safety, autonomous vehicles, electric vehicles, recalls, warranty compliance, and related enforcement risks.

Jacob brings an in-house perspective to private practice, focusing on practical strategies that account for litigation risk, regulatory exposure, cost, and the client's broader business objectives.
